TROY CLASS BOATS

The ‘Troy’ class is unique to Fowey and is raced very competitively throughout the summer. 26 have been built since 1929 and most still survive. The latest boat - T26 was built in 2006. The class is named after Troy Town – the fictional name given to Fowey by the writer and scholar Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch in many of his books. See Troy History for further details of this class.
